When used as a bitless bridle:
The jaw straps of the Barefoot Syringa Vegitex bitless bridle act as an extension of the reins. Due to the crossed rein routing, the rein aids are clearly and easily understood by the horse. This makes asking the horse to respond to the aids easier and without tilting of the head or neck. Short pressure on the left rein gives painless but clear pressure on the right side of the horse's head. The horse moves away from this pressure to the left. Short pressure on the left and right separately asks for yielding.
When used as a sidepull:
You can easily remove the jaw straps from the Barefoot Syringa bitless bridle. They are attached with stainless steel snap hooks, making it easy to convert the bitless bridle into a sidepull.
The headpiece is double adjustable on both sides. The chin strap is also separately adjustable. PLEASE NOTE: The reins shown in the photo are not included. These can be ordered separately: Barefoot Juniper Vegitex rope reins.
