System 6, the hackamore

A hackamore noseband applies pressure to the nose. However, the effect is sharper than bitless systems 1 to 5. This is due to the hackamore shanks that are part of the bitless noseband. These shanks have a leverage effect; the larger the shank, the greater the leverage. Aids given with your hand are therefore amplified by the hackamore shank and have a greater impact on your horse.

Use of Caval hackamore noseband

The FRA Caval cavemore noseband is both a cavesson and hackamore noseband in one. You can use the noseband for bitless riding as well as for groundwork using the cavesson. The FRA Caval noseband can be attached to almost any English bridle. You remove the noseband and bit from the bridle and attach the FRA Caval noseband to the cheekpieces. This turns your old bridle into a hackamore bitless bridle, but you can also choose a new headpiece as desired.

Material of 2 in 1 cavesson noseband

The noseband is softly padded, as is the chin strap, and equipped with cavesson rings. The hackamore shanks are made in the 'Star' type. The Caval hackamore noseband is made of leather.
