The Kiona is a very comfortable and softly finished leather sidepull bitless bridle from FRA, with an anatomical noseband.

System 3, Sidepull:

With a sidepull bitless bridle, the reins are attached to the anatomically shaped noseband (as in the Kiona) using clips. The noseband has no other special features, so your aids are directed only to the nose. If you want to turn left, your horse will feel light pressure on the right side of its nose (depending on your riding hand), and vice versa. For slowing down, the horse will feel pressure across the top of its nose.

Design of the FRA Sidepull Kiona:

It is an all-leather sidepull with the necessary sidepull anatomical noseband, as well as a browband and throatlatch. The cheekpieces, throatlatch, and noseband are adjustable. The bridle comes with soft leather reins that have rein clips.
