Milk Thistle Flakes and Silymarin:
Milk thistle flakes contain silymarin, which supports liver function. The liver detoxifies the body, produces blood proteins, bile, hormones, vitamin D3, and glycogen. If the liver does not function properly, problems can occur. Silymarin protects the cell walls of the liver and stimulates the formation of new liver cells.
Silymarin protects and supports the regenerative capacity of liver cells. The liver is the purification plant of your horse. Here, toxins such as dewormers or medications are filtered from the blood. A well-functioning liver is therefore vital for the horse. Due to excess iron and mycotoxins (mold toxins) in forage, we often see problems with the liver.

Recommended feeding instructions for Mariadil Universal:
- Basic course: 4-6 g (approximately 6-9 ml) per 100 kg body weight per day, for 5-7 weeks, twice a year
- Liver course: 8-10 g (approximately 12-15 ml) per 100 kg body weight per day, for 5-7 weeks
- Intensive course: 15-20 g (approximately 23-30 ml) per 100 kg body weight per day, for 5-7 weeks
Mariadil Universal flakes have a good taste. Can be fed as is or mixed with the current feed. We recommend mixing the product with the current feed.
