The base is made of soft en flexibel nubuck leather. (This used te be Brazilian bridle leather). The seat and the inside of the pommel and cantle are made of quilted suede. The suede seat can be removed from the saddle using Velcro and replaced with the separately available sheepskin seat. This sheepskin seat has thickened front edges for a secure seat.

Pommel (width size):

The Madrid comes with a standard size L pommel (gullet). The pommel can be replaced with other sizes: S, M, XL, and XXL (soft).

Stirrup leathers:

The Madrid can be ridden with stirrup leathers.

Saddle pad:

It is advised to use this saddle with the standard Barefoot pad model Nevada/Madrid. However, there are also other suitable models. The saddle pad should be equipped with inserts for optimal pressure.
