Shape of EDIX Broncho pad with inserts:
The pad is anatomically shaped for an optimal fit. On both sides of the spine, there is 1 large compartment for inserts that runs the entire length of the pad, these can be closed with Velcro. Because the pad is elevated with inserts on both sides of the back, spinal clearance is created. The model is specially designed for the EDIX Broncho bareback pad.
Advantages of EDIX Broncho lambskin pad:
+ Shorn channel for the spine in the lambskin underside provides more spinal clearance and is seamless to prevent irritation
+ The lambskin underside contributes to pressure distribution under the bareback pad and prevents chafing
+ With inserts for more spinal clearance and shock absorption
Disadvantages of lambskin bareback pad:
- Lambskin is slippery, especially when new, and can cause the bareback pad to slide more quickly on round horses
- A sheep is slaughtered for the production of lambskin, so the product is not sheep-friendly
Material of pad with inserts:
- Top: very strong cotton quilted fabric, reinforced at the bottom with nylon where the girth and rider's leg come into contact with the pad, to prevent wear
- Inner filling: felt
- Underside: Merino lambskin (lambskin improves pressure distribution)
- Inserts: 3 Mesh
Maintenance of lambskin pad:
To keep the pad in good condition for a long time, it is recommended to occasionally clean the pad with a vacuum cleaner if it is a little dirty. If the pad really needs to be washed, it can be washed in the washing machine at up to 30 degrees Celsius, but do not put it in the dryer. Use lambskin detergent to wash the pad.
