EDIX Alano Bosal
The EDIX Alano bosal, made with a steel wire core and soft rope material. The outside is made of braided PP rope and there is a stainless steel ring to attach your leather reins. With this bosal, a Mecate rein is therefore not necessary.
Difference from a classic bosal
This bosal is a variation of the classic EDIX Chara bosal. Another difference compared to a classic bosal made of rawhide is that the attachment point for the cheek pieces of your bridle is positioned further away from the eyes and therefore does not cross nerves and blood vessels, for more comfort. When used with light pressure on the reins, the bosal has a very gentle way of communicating through pressure on the nose and a 100% release.

Bitless bridle
What is a bosal:
The bosal is a bitless bridle that originated with the Native Americans. The bosal is not a strap but a kind of ring in the shape of a drop around the horse's nose, with the point of the drop facing the ground. The reins are attached at the bottom. The system is based on relaxed reins; with relaxed reins, you move the drop to the left or right to steer the horse.
EDIX Alano advantages at a glance:
