Keralit Hoof Solution

What does Keralit hoof solution do:

Keralit hoof solution is an excellent preparation for addressing thrush. Especially because it halts enzymatic breakdown processes (bacteria and fungi that dissolve frog horn). It improves horn structure, making it less susceptible to attack by microorganisms. It also creates an environment where microorganisms are less able to proliferate.

Instructions for use of hoof solution:

Before applying the solution, the frog must be thoroughly cleaned.
The frog and frog grooves must be clean and dry. No dirt should be removable with a cloth.
Then, the Keralit hoof solution is applied drop by drop into the frog grooves and distributed. The horse should then stand in a dry and clean place for 15-20 minutes.
This should be repeated daily for the first 5-7 days.
Generally, a clear improvement occurs after a few days. The treatment can then be repeated every other day.

Preventive measure against thrush:

Preventatively, the solution can be applied once a week. Even then, maintaining a clean stall, providing sufficient exercise, and regular trimming are essential for maintaining a healthy frog and preventing thrush.
