Why Use a Sweat sheet?

A sweat rug serves to prevent your horse from cooling down too quickly after riding. A fleece rug quickly absorbs the sweat from your horse. If your horse has sweated after riding and the temperatures are low, it is important to put a sweat rug on. If you don't, your horse and its muscles can cool down quickly, which may result in stiff muscles. A sweat rug helps your horse to remove sweat.
