Disadvantages of the anatomical Bareback Pad:

- Some riders may find the contact with the patches uncomfortable, but they are easily removable.
- The patches may make the bareback pad too long for some ponies, but they are easily detachable.

The V-system Bareback Pad is ideal for:

From sturdy C ponies to horses.
Horses and/or ponies with no to medium-high withers.
Riders looking for a bit of grip.
Approximately 2 to 3 times per week of use.

Less suitable for:

Horses and/or ponies with a prominent spine.
Shetland ponies and small ponies.

No stirrup leathers on the Bareback Pad:

To avoid point pressure along the spine, stirrups cannot be attached to the USG Riding Pad Bareback Pad. Additionally, the rider may get a false sense of security and is less encouraged to train an independent seat with stirrups.
